After Windows 10 Creators Update, Power Options are - Microsoft Community
yes copy of post have same issues , have tried exact same things, can please offer assistance.
after updating window's 10 creator's update, clicking on power icon start results in message: "there no power options available".
i have attempted following no avail (rebooting needed per each attempt):
- changed power plan (both different preset , new custom plan).
- ran gpedit.msc and ensured user configuration > administrative templates > start menu , taskbar was not enabled.
- ran regedit and created registry value for noclose with value 0 @ hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\explorer.
- ran sfc /scannow from admin command prompt; no issues found.
- ran powercfg –restoredefaultschemes from admin command prompt.
- ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth from admin command prompt; did error @ 99.0% error: 0x800f081f - source files not found. don't know has issue though.
please advise. workaround shutdown/reboot via cmd or ctrl + alt + delete.
