WIndows Mail and On-Site Exchange Accounts failing due to "Azure - Microsoft Community


im trying add email address windows 10 (both insider , non-insider), , erroring saying  "are sure that's right email address? organisation doesn't support joining azure ad".   domain on-site exchange 2013 server, nothing azure.

typing email address @the domain in image, fails error.  can manually setup if choose "advanced setup" , exchange activesync, shouldn't necessary.

there no records on dns pointing microsoft or azure, , new error, original builds of windows 10 mail app used add no problem.  should able replicate error trying add account domain below, , wont let type in password.

not sure if microsoft has record domain somewhere in system, or if wrong autodiscover information being spat out exchange server.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
