should I get Paid antivirus or free versions - Microsoft Community

i know question has been asked not see current 2017 replies. since technology changes quickly, asking same question.

i have pre-installed mcafee internet security on windows 10 pc. 
i've heard windows defender great tool, plus it's free. windows defender enough permanent anti-virus program? or other av programs use ins/tead?

windows defender enough protect computer form of viruses. however,  if wish install third party anti-virus, still work windows defender.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
