Shut Down Windows 10 - Microsoft Community


shut down hasn't worked since first windows 10 update. have tried without success several suggested fixes. kept hoping 1 of updates fix problem has not. shut down work , shut down when close lid. i'm tired of having manually turn off power button. how fix this?

there several reasons why unable shutdown device. 1 example isone of processes or services not shutting down properly. to better assist answer following questions:

  • which version of windows 10 installed on device?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?

in meantime, can adjust power settings by:

  1. right-click on start menu button , go power options.
  2. select change power button do left pane
  3. click on change settings unavailable
  4. uncheck turn on fast startup
  5. click ok
  6. now try power off computer, , see if problem solved.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
