update installed today , of desktop icons gone. how them back? tried uninstalling update did not work.

this issue can related missing or corrupted system file.

we recommend running system file checker tool scan , identify missing or corrupted system files. click on link more information on how run system file checker tool.

also, we'd know if have tried right-clicking on desktop , clicking on view then show desktop icons to show desktop icons.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
