Windows 10 BitLocker and TPM lockout - Microsoft Community


hi,

i have hit issue bitlocker uses tpm on windows 10 laptop.

in past able take ownership of tpm , export key/password. current version of win10 no longer allows this. fine if no longer needed key. unfortunately on laptop tpm has got in locked state after many failed logins user.  able login bitlocker recovery key after rejected initially. because windows retains ownership not have tpm key , therefore cannot reset.

i have trawled various technet articles , cannot see how supposed resolve this. tpm automatically clear lockout after period of time?

i have suspended bitlocker on computer. looks cannot resume until tpm lockout has ended.

isn't oversight on how supposed able resolve issues?

did contact manufacturer of laptop on how reset tpm, possibly through bios?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
