Old password still allows access to my PC

i've changed password via microsoft account settings on desktop.

however both old , new password works.

any solutions make sure new password works instead?

to isolate issue, tell if issue persist when boot computer in safe mode? getting same result when tried logging web browser?

for now, suggest verify credentials in account settings , see if helps.

kindly update on outcome.
