Windows 10 updates keep changing my boot drive so pc will not start - Microsoft Community


hi,

every time receive w10 update, boot drive preferences changed , pc not restart.

each time happens faced message states 'preparing automatic repair' although never repairs , options provided 'device, troubleshoot, turn off pc' not providing useful information.

i have contacted computer manufacturer's technical support , forums regarding bios/uefi , appears w1o updates forcing change boot order (os on ssd). ssd working fine , correctly set no loose connections.

this problem seems have been caused 1 particular w10 update although couldn't tell which, updates worked fine , ceased so.

be grateful if bright spark pinpoint problem keep having manually change boot options in f12 after every update, , quite lot of updates.

boot order set in bios - windows updates have never, in experience, ever, altered bios.

perhaps f12 changes boot order temporarily?

have gone bios settings , looked @ boot order?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
