Administrator Rights - Microsoft Community

i changed windows os location new hard drive , no longer have admin rights. went control panel wont let me change standard account admin account tried on both default admin account , account , option switch not highlighted.

we suggest creating new local user account , delete previous account. check article below , follow steps given.

create local user account in windows 10

follow steps below delete user account.

1. press windows + x, select control panel.
2. click user accounts.
3. click manage other account.
4. enter administrator account password if prompted.
5. click account want delete.
6. click delete account.
7. restart pc.
