Desktop in Windows 10 Changed - Microsoft Community


i have acer aspire r7, windows 10. have had no problems windows 10, other 1 day when logged pc, desktop (which had looked normal) switched looking (see below). of files had been on desktop still saved in desktop file, not on new desktop. added file , chrome apps on new desktop, have normal windows 10 desktop of files. tried restoring computer few weeks before change happened, did not fix issue.

all of files had been on desktop still saved in desktop file, not on new desktop.

press win-tab (or swipe left) , if necessary wait taskbar descend see desktop on.   e.g. 1 possibility explaining symptom description see on second desktop.  either click on icon first or press win+ctrl+cursorleft go previous one.

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....

$AV_ASW folder - Microsoft Community

dear all, lately i've found folder in both c: , d:, named $av_asw. inside there vault folder , within folder, db file can't open notepad or ms access. idea on this? i've tried googling gave me avast instead, however, i've used avast more 3 years now, no such file exist before. virus or bug or malware or whatever? please advice. thanks! what name of file? sounds avasts vault put potentially unwanted or infected files prevent them doing harm. (quarantine) open avast , quarantined items, if know file safe, can recover or can empty quarantine vault , avast remove file. Windows / Windows 10 / Security & privacy / PC

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
