How to get another chance to save password in Edge? - Microsoft Community

i made mistake of declining opportunity save password site use heavily.  cannot edge allow me save password. 

i prefer not have enter registries, etc. make repairs, not feel competent in arena.

this seems have simple fix plenty of past examples, have been searching everywhere answer , have not found it,

hi jeff,

usually, can resolved clearing browser's history, cached data , files, form data, , passwords. have microsoft edge prompt save password again. make sure not accidentally click outside small prompt window when appears.

you may refer screenshots below:

1. click ellipsis icon (more) , click settings.

2. scroll down , under clear browsing data, click choose clear.

3. tick boxes clear whole history , start clean slate, if have important websites , links don't want delete yet, can tick boxes cached data , files, form data, , passwords.

after doing that, go website again , enter credentials.

note: if you're going save password, make sure no 1 else can access account you're logged in with. if you're sharing computer user, best have separate microsoft or local accounts in pc.
