Lock screen sign-in - Microsoft Community


after windows 10 update, last year, afforded opportunity change sign-in method. instead of using microsoft account password, able create 4-digit pin, did. easier , enjoyed using pin. 2 days ago, windows 10 update installed. after download, install, , restart, sign in using previous microsoft account password. go using pin. found similar question on microsoft blog but, in settings offers option "change" or "remove" pin. doesn't "add" pin. i'm not sure if i'm running windows 10 pro, enterprise, or other version, , not know how find out. appreciated.

sign-in problem pin, shut down & looked more & noticed "sign-in options". clicked & found had options pin & password. chose pin & has appeared 3 times, far.  my bad! checked update history:  4 separate updates w 10 version 1607 x64-based systems, 1 cumulative;  security update adobe flash player;  windows malicious software removal tool various win systems.  1 update failed & installed, same day.  went control panel & ran troubleshoot win updates:  4 problems found, 3 fixed.  not fixed was:  potential windows update database error detected.  ideas fix problem? " win key + pause & break"  together showed no visible change on desktop screen.  think running win 10 home.  continue browse answer.  curious how fix problem with win update:   "database error detected".  every update has had errors & overlong download times(which dish internet service, streaming intermittent constant buffering.  sincerely thank time answering questions. kudos.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
