Screen turn off when "closed". - Microsoft Community

hi!

i using laptop project of mine , need help.

i need find way of stopping screen turn off when "closed".

you see, have detached screen body , put in fixed position on back.

this perfect computer believes lid closed.

i hoping there setting stop have not found one.

i don't think able remove magnets used hope there possibility.

to address concern regarding screen turning off when it's closed, kindly follow troubleshooting steps below:

1. press windows key + x on keyboard.
   
2. select control panel , click on hardware , sound.
   
3. under system, click on power & sleep.
4. click on power options , select choose closing lid does.
5. go to  when close lid: and choose do nothing on both on battery , plugged in.
6. click on save changes.
