windows 10 crash - Microsoft Community


windows 10 upgrade 8.1 on hp all-in-one desktop. working 1 year until screen started flashing on , off no apparent reason. windows control button did not work couldn't restart. cntl alt del got me task manager , able shut down. upon restart message virtualdrive.exe - bad image.  next lost wireless connection jetpack, clicking on connection icon in taskbar message msacuil.exe - bad image. 

i think programming got corrupted , question is: can re-install windows 8.1 on computer or stuck re-installing windows 10? full version of windows os $140. located windows os repair (however, think 3rd party software) $10. what's solution?

there no option downgrade windows 10 windows 8.1 on pc. options limited reinstall process. specifically, you'll need reinstall version of windows recovery or installation media came pc (typically dvd media).

if don't have recovery media, best option here contact computer manufacturer see if they're able provide it. 1 thing need copy data drive or device lost when reinstall performed.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
