Windows 10 Desktop arrangement - Microsoft Community

i purchased new laptop in march uses windows 10. after loading programs, arranged them way wanted them on desktop. stayed way arranged them until last week. 1 day last week, turned on laptop, , of icons moved left side of desktop.

i moved icons positions wanted them, clicked on view on desktop, , made sure auto arrange not checked, align icons grid checked. turned off laptop; next time turned on, icons once again shoved left side of desktop. once again, arranged them way wanted them, checked make sure auto arrange not checked, align icons grid checked. next time turned on laptop, icons in position had placed them.

now when turn on laptop, icons in place arranged them grid , other times shoved left side of screen. each time when check view, shows auto arrange not checked , align grid checked.

3. select themes.
4. select desktop icon settings.
5. uncheck allow themes change desktop icons.
