6/13 upgrade downloaded.  a new program installed, “waves”.  it took on audio function had used factory installed speaker/headphone volume control no longer worked.

shortly thereafter, videos started inadvertently not loading.  here i’m saying these videos course i’m taking, , videos on facebook need open in own window stopped working.  the message was, “something went wrong.  we’re having trouble playing video.”

for few days, close browser , try again, video play.  later, had reboot whole system them work.  eventually, didn’t help.

friday, 6/16 contacted desk.  the videos worked again when tech watching.  i told browsers have glitchy things happen, looked okay.

later day, audio stopped working.  now since update, computer has been making grinding noises, not unlike speakers going wonky.

i ran sorts of trouble shooting programs , 1 sound told me that driver seen, there problem program couldn’t fix.

i talked dell, whom purchased computer 3 months ago.  they ran diagnostics , told me problem windows 10 , have contract techs @ cost.  now i’m going say, i’ve spent lot of money service , wasn’t pay more!

6/17 backed files , tried reload windows 10.  tech unsavvy!  it didn’t work.  so contacted desk again.  the service code thingie (1389069142)  i got call.

the tech uninstalled 6/13 download.  we had disconnect me reboot.  so did, checked audio , ability play videos.  again, videos on facebook , in e-course problem begin with, , worked.  so reconnected, , got new tech told things looked hunky-dory. 

i asked new tech did need keep waves since pretty sure problems started when appeared , uninstalling 6/13 update did not remove it.  i told wasn’t necessary , rid of it, this:

faizan z  please go to run command ( win+ r) , type "appwiz.cpl"

faizan z  you list of installed updates, select waves audio , uninstall it.

 

then disconnected.  i unable faizan said , have been totally unsuccessful @ getting rid of waves.  i still have audio, grinding noise (buzzing, rumbling???) happening more frequently.  plus, video course , facebook don’t work again.  can stuff on youtube.

 

i have spent 2 days proactively working restore computer nice, new machine prior 6/13.  i burned out.  help me, please!

 

i’m not faulting techs because kept thinking okay.  it’s not!!!!

 

also, want rid of microsoft games i’ve downloaded.  i’m not enjoying those, don’t see uninstall them.

there several factors may causing audio issues. may include corruption within files downloaded or device driver needs updated. in order efficiently assist concern, have few questions you:

  1. have tried updating device drivers?
  2. have tried running audio troubleshooter?
  3. what troubleshooting steps have performed?

moreover, here steps on how uninstall apps on computer:

  1. click start.
  2. click settings.
  3. click system.
  4. select apps & features from left pane.
  5. select app you wish uninstall.
  6. click uninstall button that appears. if grayed out, system app cannot remove.
  7. click uninstall pop-up button to confirm.
