hello everyone,

few days ago received emails warning me microsoft account might have been compromised, due suspicious activity has been detected, , promptly suggested change password.
did immediately, , today got chance investigate issue bit more detail.

logged in recent activity page , found out suspicious activity triggered warning:

i have never been dublin, not me.
can see activity comprised of 3 successful log-ins account.

i grew curious, obviously, , tracked ip address, , guess what

it belongs microsoft corporation.

more specifically, bing robot.

to double-check information looked ip website, got same answer:

now, isn't fun?
mean, it's nice of microsoft warn me of own suspicious activity :)
entertained this, still understand following:

  1. why bingbot wanted in first place log account?
  2. why was it able so?

thank insight this.
