pin windows update to start menu & set windows apps language to - Microsoft Community


either totally clueless, or windows update not program anymore, , 1 cannot pin settings menu onto start menu since 1703 anymore?!

i have w10 pro on old notebook have pinned windows update live tile onto start menu right @ beginning when upgraded windows 7 ultimate windows 10 pro. after installing cu, tile remains used be.

but on new notebook (w10 enterprise 1607, installed yesterday freshly, 1703 through windows update today) there no way can pin windows update start menu, since thing finds "check updates" , "windows update settings", arent programs hat pinnable.

going old notebook w10 pro 1703 try same, likewise - no windows update program anymore, unpinnable settings. although there pin windows update still there , works.

any solution?

since belongs the same category, have question:

my regional settings set region (austria, europe; german) on new notebook w10 enterprise, windows, office 2016 etc. english, want them be. though still, windows apps calculator, weather, calender news etc. in german. moreover, search hits in edge in german, , installers download , run start in german, need set language english in-app afterwards when installed.

on old notebook (as above, w10 pro upgraded w7 ultimate, english) exact same regional settings, in english want be, search results in edge in english.

so, how can turn apps (and edge search results well), downloaded installers english, preferably without needing change region?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
