Security - WannaCrypt ransomware - Microsoft Community

first of all, hello , coming here,

here issue : i'm user of windows 10 , naturally, got worried ransomware attack happening. wasn't windows update abled(that terrible mistake know) , didn't patch vulnerability. however, on course of last night , morning have updated win 10 patches appeared( didn't asked me if wanted update, clicked search updates , updated). want know if files safe know , if not can do. 

also, ran full windows defender scan , did not find thing, except trojandropper known sventore.c, removed.

if can me grateful.

as long windows updated , anti-virus updated, protected against malware. wannacrypt being detect windows defender in windows 10 , other microsoft anti-malware product ransom:win32/wannacrypt .
