Windows 10 flashing screen and taskbar - Microsoft Community

my desktop worked fine when logged on tonight; got browser , did couple of things, wanted run figures. when took me couple of minutes locate calculator, tried pin calculator task bar before used it. ever since then, taskbar , screen keep flashing off , on 6 or 7 times , quits 10-12 seconds, starts flashing again. shortcut icons on taskbar have vanished except cortana , windows icon. cannot start menu using left button on mouse clicking on windows icon, although can use right mouse button on same icon no problem long screen not flashing @ time. windows button on keyboard not access start menu whether screen flashes or not. if screen not flashing can shortcuts on desktop, not when it's flashing. when screen flashes makes insertion point flaky , in typing had start , stop typing use mouse reposition insertion point. wife can change users on same computer, , log in account no flashing problem. notices calculator app not work on user account either, , wonders if taskbar may trying load calculator, there wrong shortcut , cannot initiate it.

i looked on web , found several topics discussing this, state problem due icloud, audio program called idt, , piece of software. not have of 3 on computer. began when tried shortcut calculator on taskbar.  incidentally, calculator not work. icon of calculator, not calculator itself.

is there way stop this?????
