windows computer not processing requests - Microsoft Community

went on vacation week, not computer not respond. 

upon startup, system takes 10 minutes load up.  onedrive script error.  when select no continuing run script, takes 3-5 minutes before next request can processed.  have launched task manager - nothing running, not have taxing system (cpu - <1%, memory - <6%, network , wifi fine). task manager becomes non-responsive , cannot closed.  norton not show virus.  3 updates ran , 1 failed while gone. one on adobe, 1 failed (5x) hp printer, 1 windows suspicious activity , 1 windows security update. 

have tried restarting 4x - same result every time.

tried restore windows, operating system not respond when select restart option under recovery options.

any suggestions?

method 2: deployment image servicing , management.

you can use dism tool update files , correct problem.

to repair image, please follow these steps below:

1. press windows + x keys.
2. click on command prompt (admin).
3. copy , paste following command:
   dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
4. it may take few minutes finish. if find the operation completed successfully, click x to close command prompt.
5. reboot pc changes take effect.

method 3: perform clean boot.

a clean boot performed start windows using a minimal set of drivers , startup programs. eliminates software conflicts occur when install program or update or when run program in windows.
