Can't log in in safe mode - Microsoft Community

first, i've tried i've seen in comes when try searching answer except unplugging hard drive , sticking in computer change settings.

many people saw when researching problem, put computer safe mode correct bad driver, find not log in.  the computer not accept correct  password, of old passwords, or pin let me log in.  i put in safe mode networking, plugged wireless router(not easy task, had move room), , tried using  the on screen keyboard input password, no avail.

quite few suggestions i've seen want me log in administrator, can't windows so.  i've tried restoring last restore point , image, , resetting windows default, along trying command prompt safe mode.  all of these won't let me without putting in password; password, should note, let me log onto site , hotmail no difficulties. 



i'd rather not reformat drive, i'm not seeing other answers.

regarding concern, have happened because system not able synchronize microsoft account. if haven't tried reset password yet, recommend following steps in article: when can't sign in microsoft account.

once you've reset password, kindly try enter in safe mode signing in using microsoft account again.
