New type of scam - Microsoft Community


got call number  58 6-87 1-26 61 spaces added

told me microsoft , on paid them support issues last feb. , wanted refund me amount of $249, after asking them few question such name, wouldn't tell me because of security gave them fake name , conversation went on, next card number 3 digit code refund money, gave them fake number after few moments told number wrong , give them again, 2nd time new fake number time person replied yes number matching name(fake) have given him, @ point told him scammer , hung up.

new 1 (to me @ least) fake emergency call (automated) microsoft purporting windows "license key" has expired , call toll-free number "at once."

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
