Windows 10 Closing All Programs in Sleep Mode - Microsoft Community


updated computer yesterday , whenever goes sleep mode, closes open programs. hybrid sleep isn't allowed that's not issue. it's annoying because whole point of me not shutting down can keep programs open.

thank update. let's try run system update readiness command. it detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, , can replace incorrect data corrected version available:

  1. select start button, , search for command prompt.
  2. in list of results, right-click command prompt, , select run administrator.
  3. type following commands, , press enter after each command:
  • dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
  • dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

once you're done, update result.

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....

$AV_ASW folder - Microsoft Community

dear all, lately i've found folder in both c: , d:, named $av_asw. inside there vault folder , within folder, db file can't open notepad or ms access. idea on this? i've tried googling gave me avast instead, however, i've used avast more 3 years now, no such file exist before. virus or bug or malware or whatever? please advice. thanks! what name of file? sounds avasts vault put potentially unwanted or infected files prevent them doing harm. WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
