after Windows 10 update can't login into my admin account - Microsoft Community

after windows 10 update other night, turned on laptop next morning andit took unusually long time enter  the log in page. entered password , after time logged guest account message saying " can't connect account". laptop works fine though, files still here lost personalizing settings etc , because using guest account makesmy life  hard having set settings , preferences  from start every day. temporary? shall hope fixed on it's own, maybe 1 day i'll turn on , normal or something? can fix it?

to address concern regarding account issues in windows 10, recommend creating new user account using hidden administrator. access hidden administrator, follow these steps:

1. on keyboard, press windows + x.
2. select command prompt (admin).
3. type net user administrator /active: yes (note: there's space after "/" , ":").

after performing steps above, log out current account. then, log in hidden administrator. next, create new user account following steps below:

1. on keyboard, press windows + i.
2. choose accounts.
3. select family & other people tab.
4. click add else pc, , follow onscreen instructions.
