Yoga910 with Win10 Pro Sudden Sleep Issue - Microsoft Community

hey guys,

i'm using lenovo yoga910 win10 pro system.

i have sudden sleep issue.

actually it's been there since bought laptop happens more lately.

here's issue:

the computer goes sleep mode of sudden when i'm typing/net-surfing/watching video.

i'm aware these automatic sleep mode setting when it's idling time 10min.

this not case.

i'm literally using computer when happens indeed why it's annoying. 

more info:

it happens within first 10 minutes after started.

and after waking again work fine until next start.

my other dell laptop doesn't have issue.( same system, same software)

does have idea?

is hardware of software issue?

hello,

we appreciate details have provided. based on information above, possible what's causing power plan settings. let isolate if issue power plan settings. that, let run power troubleshooter:

1. press windows logo key on keyboard, type troubleshooting and select top search result.
2. click on view all left side of screen panel.
3. select power from options, click on advanced option , check apply repairs automatically option.  
4. follow on screen instructions.
5. close window , check if changes effective.

if doing didn't make changes, let's create new power plan , see if issue persists.

1. click start, , select control panel.
2. click hardware , sound, and select power options.
3. the power options control panel opens, , power plans appear.
4. click create power plan.
5. follow on-screen instructions create , customize power plan file based on existing plan. name power plan "outdoorplan".

if creating new power plan didn't solve issue, suggest restore power plan default. refresh settings , see if issue still persists.

1. right click on start button , click on control panel.
2. click on power options.
3. click on choose when turn off display left pane.
4. click on restore default settings plan.

these methods isolate if issue power plan. if issue persists after performing above steps, possible other programs causing this.
