f you've forgotten windows password, there several ways retrieve or reset it:

• if pc on domain, system administrator must reset password.

• if you're using microsoft account, can reset password online. more info, go reset password webpage.

• if you're using local account, use password hint reminder.

if you've tried these suggestions , still can't sign in:

• if have windows 8.1, you'll need reinstall windows.

• if have windows rt 8.1, you'll need contact pc manufacturer.
