Can't pin Calculator to Taskbar - Microsoft Community

hello. while back, when first got pc, pinned default calculator app taskbar. recently, has disappeared. unable find through search. went windows store , checked, , indeed have app installed. launched try , pin taskbar. calculator launched, there no taskbar icon it. went task manager, , found calculator task, , opened file location. tried pinning exe taskbar, error saying, "this app can run in context of app container." issue specific calculator app, able run other apps without error. appreciate help.

in search box, type in apps & features , press enter.
from list of applications, calculator app , select advanced options.
click reset button.
just click reset button again when pop-up box appear.

if same issue persist after resetting calculator app, next step recommend uninstall application , install again. that, follow steps below:

in search box, type in windows powershell , right-click select run administrator.
copy , paste following command in powershell window , press enter:

get-appxpackage –allusers
look for microsoft.windowscalculator name.
copy the packagefullname of calculator selecting shown in picture below:
finally, enter following command uninstall calculator:

remove-appxpackage packagefullname

in above command, replace packagefullname packagefullname of calculator copied in previous step.
after that, go windows store install windows calculator.
