Lack of Password protection for Windows Live Mail app - Microsoft Community


hi,

       i have been bit concerned awhile not seem able password protect windows live mail app in windows 10. 

basically click on mail access email. doesn't seem secure. need log pc first there protection.

     i can outlook email in browser requires microsoft log in details. have 1 account , wondering why not have same option mail app ? can set app password ? because not have subscription office  but use free elements ? under settings email security have no options.

    perhaps need use webmail security ?

                                                                                 any advice appreciated.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
