taskbar moves to wrong monitor - Microsoft Community

i have 2 monitor setup, , have enabled taskbar shows on primary monitor.

every morning when logon taskbar, icons , notifications have moved secondary screen.

the resolution far, have been set secondary primary , switch again.

even if show taskbar on screens, notification area still moves secondary.

i have 2 month old dell machine , updated nvidia (and dell) drivers.

is there more permanent fix issue?

kindly follow troubleshooting steps below:

1. right-click on taskbar.
2. click properties.
3. on taskbar tab, under multiple displays, remove check mark beside show taskbar on displays.
4. click apply.
5. click ok, , reboot your pc.
