Windows connection Manager Hung "Stopping" ; Error 1061 - Microsoft Community

w-10 home 64-bit

4gb ram

atom x7-z8700 cpu @ 1.6 ghz

windows connection manager service hung in "stopping" mode

start, stop, restart greyed-out , unavailable

several dependencies have start, stop, & restart greyed out.

the dependencies not have above greyed out report "error 1061:  the service cannot accept control messages @ time." when attempting start, stop, or restart - although show in "running" state.

this impacting wlan , making not appear in system tray.

device driver uninstalled/re-installed.

pc shut down , restarted.

sfc/scannow command ran 100% , found no integrity violtions.

need help.

for initial troubleshooting kindly check if following services configured in order use ics:

press windows key + r, type services.msc , press enter.

make sure items below in running status:

application layer gateway service
network connections
network location awareness (nla)
plug , play
remote access auto connection manager
remote access connection manager

volume shadow copy
background intelligence service

let know how goes.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
