Windows will not start - Microsoft Community


my hp 550 has been working fine manufacturer installed windows 10 1 yr. around 12-21 after using machine powered down normally, prompted install update , shutdown. did ok , left room. 3 hrs later noticed still running grey screen. powered down power switch. windows not start. powers up, goes hp logo few seconds,  spinning dots 30 sec. , grey screen....for hours. f11 on startup  allows me use trouble shooting tools, startup repair can't repair, system restore can't complete , reset can't complete. suggestions appreciated. thanks.

you don't need hp media install same corrupting bloatware (for hp worst) caused problem, , reason why no tech enthusiast run factory install. 

you can instead clean install windows 10 media provided ms.  activate product key embedded @ factory in bio/uefi chip on  motherboard. 

as illustrated in wiki, boot media uefi device if offered, delete partitions down unallocated space cleanest, click next let auto-format needed partitions , begin.  makes foolproof.

you 'll , keep best possible install exact extent stick steps in link.  opposite of hp factory install regarded worst possible install.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
