Pc goes into standby mode (?) after turning it off - Microsoft Community


hey,

lately i've been having odd problem. whenever turn pc off (normal way, start button, shut down) turn off, after couple of minutes notice mouse on again , detection light (or whoever it's called) blinking, , when press pretty key on keyboard pc turns on. on rare ocasions hitting desk accident (i did check cables afterwards , hasn't happened again, though rare begin with).

when turns off, display goes out first , after while pc, not sure if has it.

to resolve issue experiencing, please verify following:

  • how long have been experiencing issue?
  • are getting error messages?

just make sure you're not on hibernate/sleep mode, can check link out.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
