User Folder name shows incorrectly in Explorer after an accidental - Microsoft Community


while moving location of user profile folders (desktop, documents, downloads, pictures, etc) second drive save space on ssd boot drive, accidentally merged pictures , desktop folders together. repaired using "restore default" option under location tab in properties. however, accidentally merged desktop folder user profile folder when moving ssd boot drive (i thought desktop stay on drive afterall). situation @ present following:

my desktop folder has been restored location

c:\users\username\desktop

all functioning normal, , folder has been re-identified system folder (a lot of forum searching make happen).

however, issue still present user profile folder incorrectly shown in file exporer

c:\users\desktop

even though in registry , file structure (using cmd prompt etc) correctly listed

c:\users\username

for folder , sub-folders.

i have been unable rectify issue , appreciate help. computer functional is, glitch seeming show in file explorer. if clarification necessary, please ask. thanks-

$AV_ASW folder - Microsoft Community

dear all, lately i've found folder in both c: , d:, named $av_asw. inside there vault folder , within folder, db file can't open notepad or ms access. idea on this? i've tried googling gave me avast instead, however, i've used avast more 3 years now, no such file exist before. virus or bug or malware or whatever? please advice. thanks! what name of file? sounds avasts vault put potentially unwanted or infected files prevent them doing harm. WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
