Windows 10 screen power off issue. - Microsoft Community
i bought custom built pc win 8 preinstalled in 2014.
upgraded win10 in 2016.
after upgrading win 10, experience odd problems.
after reboot or start up, seems work normal , monitors turns off after 15min.
due weather station software, uploads info web site, not allow pc herniate. have set 2 monitors power off after 15 min. worked every time when running win 8, , every time after startup or reboot win 10.
when using other programs monitors don’t turn off , have reboot å enable again.
have tried identify program causing this, , seems several programs or “tasks” causing this.
1 have identify sure, qbittorrent program (also other torrent clients), if have downloaded something. though have shut down after use.
other programs or #tasks” have not been able identify, because seems bit randomly!
have tried see if have running tasks or programs connected torrent client, have not been able figure out why happen.
1 thing sure, have same hardware , software when running win8. none issue.
can me , advise me or how can identify preventing “randomly” monitors switch off?

you can follow steps through fix windows update errors using dism or system update readiness tool to check update errors.
note: please perform clean boot on pc.
clean boot temporarily disables third party applications microsoft non-essential services basic drivers run. find third-party software can cause of issue.
here steps:

from start, search msconfig.

select system configuration from search results.

on services tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click select hide microsoft servicescheck box, , tap or click disable all.

on startup tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click open task manager.

on startup tab in task manager, each startup item, select item , click disable.

close task manager.

on startup tab of system configuration dialog box, tap or click ok, , restart computer.
