Restart after update fails to locate user profile - Microsoft Community


after windows 10 performs update , restarts itself, sign-in on sign-in page. windows goes through restart, says "preparing windows," says can't find user profile , has logged me temporary user profile. changes make , documents prepare won't saved. suggests restart solve problem. restarting not solve problem.

then have go through ten step process locate advanced system settings , manually select user profile, sitting right there in plain view. restart again , problem solved (temporarily).

with of geniuses available @ microsoft, isn't there more permanent , automated way fix problem?

try follow steps provided monica.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
