Windows Explorer crashes whenever I right-click on a file. - Microsoft Community


hi all,

i have purchased new windows 10 computer, and, frustratingly, within week of buying it, has starting malfunctioning whenever right-click file. 

specifically, whenever right file, greeted error message attaching below, after windows seems refresh , windows explorer closes (all other applications seem continue running normal).

 

this seems happen every single time have right-clicked saved document (such ms word, pdf or excel files want copy , paste), , when right-click on applications on others.

p.s. i've seen several other posts of users have had similar issues mine, of these number of years (and windows versions!) ago, , wasn't sure how answers given these relevant predicament.  

also, the problem be a problematic third party context menu handler.

you try disabling non-microsoft context menu handlers , then, if problem resolves, re-enable them 1 @ time see 1 problem.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
