Windows Store Cache May Be Damaged - Microsoft Community
issue: "windows store cache may damaged"
background: @ end of last month, may 2017, there update released microsoft. did update, restarted computer, , since have had nothing issues.
bottom line upfront - none of apps work. i've read , tried most, if not recommended solutions find online , not fix it. i'm old retired soldier , far computer tech, understand enough , more basic troubleshooting.
my computer on year old, has/had been working great until update.
on 29 may 2017, battle began.
between 29 may , 30 may 2017, contacted microsoft support on 20 times! each , every time routed call center in philippines, not issue if fix computer. on 75% of time call dropped no return call. when tech realized not fix issue, call dropped. when tech got frustrated, call dropped. when asked speak @ microsoft in seattle, " not have information.
microsoft support has been absolutely useless.
since 29th of may 2017- 6 (6) "level 1" microsoft techs have remoted computer, ran checks, troubleshooted, uninstalled , reinstalled windows 5 times, downloaded several different "non-microsoft" programs onto computer in attempt fix it, , still nothing. built 4 different profiles on computer, downloaded more different programs, etc., , still unable fix it, , crap (programs, profiles, etc.) has been downloaded techs still on computer.
since 29th of may 2017, 2 (two) "level 2" microsoft techs remoted computer, ran troubleshooting, uninstalled , reinstalled windows additional 3 more times, told me system fixed, hung-up, , when logged on, still not fixed.
the thing microsoft did accomplished me purchase assure program $149.00, guarantee fix computer , keep running great. scam!
i go on , on, what's use. i'm seeking assistance issue. have literally spent tens of hours in front of computer while "microsoft techs" got absolutely nothing accomplished.
should shoot piece of microsoft crap right here , put out of it's misery? need medivac computer store? appreciate assistance.
again, standard troubleshooting has been done, along advanced troubleshooting 6 level 1 microsoft techs , 2 level 2 microsoft techs.

i have spent hours fixing adapters re-installing programs. cleaning item after item. computer brand new. 8 weeks old , shouldn't happening. appreciated.
