i have non-standard installation:
- ssd1: windows 10 (1)
- ssd2: windows 10 (2)
it working fine year. user select os via metro boot menu.
1 of windows (1) got creator update.
today graphic boot menu shows black screen. can still select windows boot using arrows , hitting enter (blindly), it's kinda working. it's super inconvenient , graphic boot menu back.
have 2 monitors if it's matter. fast boot turned off. eascybcd shows no errors in bootmanager, metro menu active. both os works fine when loaded.
any suggestions cause , how can fix it? is'it boot menu/windows problem or monitor/graphic drivers maybe?
nick dich, thank reply.
i solved problem, still not quite sure exactly was cause. seems user forgot turn off connected multimedia devices (external soundcards) while updating os. turned them off, did cold restart , boot screen fixed.
