change email address for Microsoft account - Microsoft Community


present email provider orange have decided @ short notice pull plug on freeserve email account 31st may 2017. after date not able  send or receive emails address.   probable being stupid cant seem find way of changing email address on microsoft account. have changed details on numerous other accounts , sure there must way. can put me out of misery without telling me how stupid appreciated.

better understand concern, we’d know following information:

  • are trying change email address while retaining information have on microsoft account?
  • on microsoft platform trying change email address (xbox account, outlook account, community forum)?

$AV_ASW folder - Microsoft Community

dear all, lately i've found folder in both c: , d:, named $av_asw. inside there vault folder , within folder, db file can't open notepad or ms access. idea on this? i've tried googling gave me avast instead, however, i've used avast more 3 years now, no such file exist before. virus or bug or malware or whatever? please advice. thanks! what name of file? sounds avasts vault put potentially unwanted or infected files prevent them doing harm.
