Windows 10 local user reverts to old local user account after full - Microsoft Community


hi,

just did full reset on friends win 10 pc because had changed broadband supplier , deleted microsoft account. unfortunately using log pc. local account password forgotten long ago.

so did full reset via troubleshooter , created new local account. worked fine 48 hours , tried install office 2000 , failed.

they next time tried login login account had reverted 1 existed before reset.

i thinking reset did not wipe old user during reset , somehow has got reinstated. idea on this?

  • are using microsoft account log in pc?
  • can please specify reinstated after logging in account?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
