Cannot restrict child login hours on Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

problems needing resolution:

two of computers not limit children's login activities selected time periods.

usage reporting delayed , incomplete.

preliminaries:

#1 - have never used microsoft windows 8/8.1

#2 - have microsoft family safety settings family working on 3 other computers

#3 - i'm microsoft certified professional years of supporting msdos , nt server current server 2016

most of computers windows 7 upgraded windows 10.  this not factor.  one of computers having issue new computer built scratch windows 10.  one of them upgrade.  one of computers working okay new computer built scratch windows 10.  this not appear determining factor working or not working.

i've noticed lot of folks have issue , think answer may simple one.  all of children underage.  i've created accounts using microsoft family while creating outlook.com email addresses them.  at 1 port or time restricted.

also, when checking recent activity (esp. "today") displays incorrect data - "0 minutes."  they have been on computers 1-2 hours today nothing should @ 0.  one child displays "2 minutes" "today"" has been active hour today , active in second session has been going @ least 20 minutes.

all of computers have been using sophos endpoint protection families (www.sophos.com/home) provided virus protection , family filtering 10 workstations (including osx) doesn't include login restrictions.  i use sophos xg firewall (also free families) filter , restrict internet access family friendly sites.  neither of these see problem windows 10 computers working , windows 10 computers not working in same environment.

i happy run repair tools, uninstall , reinstall of services, hot fixes, registry edits, deleting , recreating local accounts or other patches repair , "test subject" can figure out , other folks secure families internet experience.  i rather have windows 10 not allow children login @ login , operate without time restrictions.
