computer freezing up - Microsoft Community


hello , hope can me.  problem computer keeps freezing or crashing. can not move mouse!  using microsoft tool checking possible virus, etc. froze in middle of scan.  has happened getting ready throw something!! freeze ups seem happen @ different times, mean can watching on youtube, or checking email, or trying pay bills.  using windows 10, laptop had windows 7 opted free upgrade in july 2015.  installed update in july 2016.  after using these awhile did start freeze @ random times. has frozen 7 times in 2 days.  not pro , without specific  instructions on how fix have no idea of do.  please tell can fixed!  go windows 7 have no idea how @ all.  use firefox home page , computer acer aspire have had on 2 years.  please me.

we got on this. please follow easy steps below in order reduce, or remove freezing issue windows 10.

1. in start search tab, type "adjust appearance , performance of windows" , press enter.
2. go advanced tab , click change... button in virtual memory section
3. @ top, uncheck box right before "automatically manage paging file size drives" option.
4. select drive c: (or drive windows 10 installed).
5. select custom size ticking radio button, , change initial size (mb) , maximum size (mb) recommended value find below total paging file size drivers section.

this method improve system performance of windows 10, , gradually decrease freeze issues.

remember: changing paging file size larger recommended windows not going helpful.

please update results. if issue persistent, still got few methods can possibly resolve concern before decide go previous version of windows. can provide next methods if needed , every after another.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
