Display problem - Microsoft Community


hello using dell inspiron 14 laptop, display resolution 1366*768. after restart turned 1024*768 , splited display 4 portions.. display driver intel 4000 hd.. me support..please

there lot of possibilities why issue has occurred. isolate matter, have questions you: 

 

  1. when did issue start? 

  2. were there changes made before issue occur? 

  3. have tried updating driver? 

  4. what other troubleshooting steps have done far?

did upgrade win 7 win 10 when kept getting messages telling me needed update before stop supporting win 7, , far must dislike win10.  i've had lot of problems, main being lot of times when turn on laptop, blank screen.  the laptop on , running, there light coming screen can't past screen.  at 1 point, closed screen go sleep, open screen , fine.  that doesn't work either - laptop won't go sleep.  i've tried going safe mode, messing different settings nothing has worked.  i install updates windows recommends - i'm @ loss , frustrated.  anyone have ideas on how fix blank screen logons?  is video driver issue??  i appreciate before frustrated , throw laptop out window.  :)  thanks in advance. answers post should include minimum information. 1.  device type. ie pc, laptop, tablet, surface. 2.  os type, home, pro, executive, etc 3.  current build....

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
