Flashing Shield Box on bottom row - Microsoft Community


on task bar @ bottom of screen have flashing orange square blue , yellow quartered shield in won't allow me access in task bar. can access internet , other things on desktop not things word , excel , switch off icon. know caused , how remedy please? won't respond clicking on or let me know there for.

  • are referring anti-virus software when "flashing orange square blue , yellow quartered shield"? helpful if can provide screenshot of you're seeing on screen.
  • have made changes computer recently? installed software or updates?

in meantime, let run system file checker tool to identify , troubleshoot error. kindly refer link for steps.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
