Start Menu issue - Microsoft Community

so we've got small children sneak room computer , found our start menu (windows 10) looks this:

it's empty!

i don't know if kid clicked shouldn't have or what.  how repopulate start menu!?

also, if worst comes worst, can totally manually repopulate menu myself if know few things:

1.) folder start menu?

2.) how find specific folders high-use items such microsoft word, excel, , antivirus?

1. check whether c:\programdata\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs ,
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs empty or still contain start menu shortcuts.

2. programs can found in c:\program files , c:\program files (x86).

Windows / Windows 10 / Desktop, Start, & personalization / PC
