i have dell insipron 660s, intell core i3-2120 @ 3.30 ghz., 6 gb .memory,  64 bit operating system x 64 bit operating system. there 2 windows installers running on system. running windows 7, , switched windows 10 july , since constant running of widows installer kept running. , information appericated.

1.      windows 32 – bit installer located @ c:\windows\sys wow64 called misexe file version 5.0.14393.0 original file name misexe.exe 57 kb., created 7/16/16. installer runs using 25 % of processing speed. there can stop happening if it’s not normal?

2.      windows 32- bit installer located @ c:\windows\system 32 called misexe file version

5.0.1493.0 63.5 kb., created 7/16/16.

hi,

you can stop running following these steps:

  1. open computer management opening file explorer, right-clicking this pc , selecting manage.
  2. click services, right-click windows installer, select properties , click stop.

note: if windows installer service running , stop button disabled, follow these steps:

  1. in properties dialog, change start type disabled, click ok , restart pc.
  2. after rebooting pc, re-open computer management or task manager and check if windows installer still running.

let know if steps above stopped windows 32 installer.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
