Windows Firewall: DLNA-Server and Network Discovery - Microsoft Community


i have following problem:

i'm running dlna server uses udp 1900 discovery. service set allowed connection in windows firewall advanced security.

in addition use network discovery has predefined rule svchost.exe on udp 1900 (ssdp-in). if disable rule network discovery switched off.

if firewall switched off, works desired. if switch on dlna server cannot found anymore. switch off predefined ssdp-in rule dlna server works again network discovery disabled. creating alternate rule (udo 1900 in programs) not enable network discovery unfortunately.

i tried in addition no luck:

- creating rule allowing udp 1900 programs

- creating rule allowing incoming traffic local ip (aka tv)

- limiting ssdp-in local ips excluding 1 (aka tv) mentioned before

it seems once network discovery switched on other rules allowing traffic on port ignored.

how can overcome situation?

provide accurate solution query, need verify information. kindly answer questions listed below:

  • is pc connected domain?
  • are managing windows server or company's server?
  • are using software apply rules , codes system?

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community

Windows error No Certificate Available - Microsoft Community
