Pop-up Scam Critical failure - Microsoft Community


received pop wouldn't let me exit out clicking - turned surface off. 

an audio voice playing telling me they're stealing information , call number.

just posting people aware.  rule - when happens make sure don't click things.  shut off computer/laptop/surface.  i'm not computer savy makes sense me if these things pop up, anywhere press lead more bad things.  if give 1 "icon" click. 

question:   there way report microsoft?

appreciate let know scam pop-ups. while pop-ups useful , important, others traps attempt mislead revealing sensitive personal or financial information, paying fake anti-virus software, or installing malware , viruses onto device. report microsoft, click on link. refer article: avoiding technical support scams.

WTouch_Message_Window app running in the background is preventing - Microsoft Community
