Unable to uninstall "Strongvault" - Microsoft Community

while using computer, running win 10, receive notification "strongvault" trying install, error message stating "error 1706. no valid source found product strongvault online backup. windows installer can not continue." program not show in windows uninstaller, not removable using https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed or using programs ccleaner, receive same error,  1706. how rid of program?

to understand why getting error when uninstall program, please answer these questions:

• did install program on computer before?
• do notification installation when computer not connected network?

the registry entries of program may preventing uninstalling system. follow these steps delete entries:

1. press windows key + r on keyboard.
2. type regedit then press enter.
3. navigate these locations in registry:

• hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\run\random.exe
• hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\currentversion\run\”msn” = “%temp%\34542.exe
• hkey_current_user\appevents\schemes\apps\explorer\navigating

we need delete files associated program in hard drive. here's how:

1. show hidden files on computer.
2. navigate c:\users\username\appdata\local. (replace "username" username of account on pc.)
3. delete strongvault online backup folder along contents. (press shift key delete folder premanently deleted.)
   

once done deleting files, try run troubleshooter again uninstall program.
